EXIT Realty Consultants partners with Second Harvest Food Bank to feed those in need during the summer
EXIT Realty Consultants proudly announces its partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank of the Greater Valley to help feed those in need throughout the summer. Now until June 30th, EXIT Realty Consultants offices in Manteca, Modesto, Ceres and Turlock will be accepting food donations that will be distributed through the Manteca-based food bank.
“We are always looking for ways to give back to the communities we serve. Like so many other businesses, we do all we can to give back over the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays,” said Kris Klair, Broker/Owner of the local real estate franchise. “We as a company recognize that some people suffer from hunger all year long. That’s just not acceptable to us and we wanted to do our part to help out those in need, especially kids who are on break from school and may not have meals typically offered when school is in session.”
EXIT staff connected with Nic Padilla, SHFB Corporate Relations Manager, at a Ceres Chamber of Commerce event and it seemed like a perfect fit to partner with the food bank by accepting food donations at their local offices. Items requested include bags of dry beans, bags of rice, menudo, canned chicken, canned protein, peanut butter, pasta, pasta sauce, and, of course, kid-friendly stuff – like crackers, chips, etc. Expired items cannot be accepted. Piggy banks have also been placed at the front counters with a sign that reads “Every Quarter donated allows Second Harvest to purchase one Pound of Produce. Every Penny Counts.”
Donations may be dropped off Monday through Friday, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the following locations:
Ceres: 3018 E. Service Road, Suite 105 (Corner of Service & Mitchell Roads, behind Chevron/7-11).
Manteca: 150 W. Yosemite Avenue (Corner of W. Yosemite & S. Maple Avenue).
Modesto: 3425 Coffee Road (Corner of Coffee Road & Sylvan Avenue)
Turlock: 600 E. Main Street, Suite 300 (Corner of E. Main & S. Denair Avenue).
For over a decade, EXIT Realty Consultants has partnered with the Stanislaus County Health Agency, Partnership for Healthy Children, to provide gifts from Santa through their “Giving Tree” program.
